rDOME PENTAGON
This is some kind of prefabricated plastic roof system which i guess greatly simplifies the building of an outdoor shed. I wrote to this company and they sent me the following email message:
"In full production with two new models. BIG uDome that is 200 sq ft and 12 ft high and our 200 sq ft TranShel that is also 200 sq ft and will be introduced at the Geneva Shelter Center convention the first week of May 2009."
"Whether you need a shed, dome, yurt, gazebo, or greenhouse our geodesic dome roof will cover it! After purchasing standard length 2x4's, the only tool you will need to assemble the roof and build the framing is a hammer. It's that simple and inexpensive, the rDome (roof dome) costing $295 and the five square 8'x8' wall frames, approximately $150. Each dome roof weighs less than 60 pounds and is made of durable plastic corrugated fire retardant panels. Corrugated panels for all 5 sides is available and costs only $150. The roof and siding will last up to ten years or more when painted with a gallon of exterior latex acrylic paint. The dome roof weighs less then 60 pounds and is shipped Federal Express."

Nice website with lots of pictures of their products. Many nice models to choose from. Their service area is all around the San Francisco bay area. You might be able to pick up a shed and haul it yourself using your own equipment or rent something to haul a shed from their location.

Building a shed may seem like a daunting task to a DIY novice. Provide a level, sound, sturdy base and the rest should be simple. Building the base for a garden building is an easy task for a single person to complete. However we recommend an extra person is on site during the construction of the shed to help with lifting and placing roof and wall panels. Many of their models are well suited for use as home offices or extra storage, depending on how you want to finish the interior.

METROSHED MetroShed - The Original Modern Prefab Shed. MetroShed is proud to be "eco-friendly" and a leader of building "green" prefabricated structures. MetroSheds are delivered flat packed, with full assembly instructions and all necessary fasteners. No building experience is necessary and the build process takes just a few hours. There are only 31 major pieces to the MetroShed. You will need a screw gun, ladder and gloves - all screws and connecting pieces are provided. A concrete foundation is not necessarily needed.
